Did you know that getting a stairlift fitted can actually improve your relationship?
It’s true!
Staircases up and down the county this minute are keeping couples apart.
Okay, so full disclosure: this isn’t a scientific survey. What’s more, we haven’t actually surveyed anyone. But please humour us…
With decades of experience in mobility and particularly in the stairlift industry, we know a thing or two about the people whose stairlifts we supply and service.
So back to the stairlifts…
Here are some of the ways your staircase is getting in the way of your love life and how you can improve your relationship with a stairlift…
Sleeping downstairs
People say they would move mountains for the ones they love, however, scaling a simple staircase is enough to let couples sleep apart for years and years before they think to get a stairlift.
It’s true! When going up the stairs becomes one hurdle too much before bedtime, nodding off on the sofa becomes preferable to getting to bed.
And as we know, dozing off next to your other half is one thing that keeps those bonds super strong. Don’t let your lack of a stairlift ruin your love life.
A bad night’s sleep
What’s more – sleeping on the sofa downstairs may be easier and more convenient than struggling up the stairs. But are the after-effects worth it? A crick in the neck, a sore back and the cat on your head are not the best conditions for a refreshing day ahead. A poor night’s sleep can make you irritable and not much fun to be around, especially if you accidentally snap at your loved one through fatigue. Go to bed when you’re supposed to in your own bedroom and feel the wonders of a refreshing sleep, all courtesy of your stairlift.
Ruined living space
So you think you’ve outsmarted us with a workaround to the two points above?
“It’s simple! Just move the bed into the living room.”
You’ve negated the need for stairs, and you’ll get a cosy night in a proper bed in the living room. Best of all, you’ve got easy access to the TV. You’re now dominating the living space and you’re content. But what about everyone else?
Seeing your messy bed in the middle of the living space is not ideal for the people you live with. Furthermore, your bedspread might not match the décor.
This can only lead to niggles and bickering – hardly good conditions for a respectful relationship.
So delete all thoughts of a bed in the living room – just get a stairlift.
We’re here to help you improve your relationship and get a good night’s sleep. Just get in touch today and we’ll find your perfect match, your missing piece: the stairlift of your dreams.
